Frequently asked
Frequently asked
Quick answers to common questions.
-
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is between 15:00 and 23:00; check-out between 08:00 and 11:00. Please let us know your approximate arrival time so the property manager can meet you.
-
Are there quiet hours?
Yes — Greek afternoon siesta runs from 14:00 to 17:00, and the complex enforces it gently. Plan loud activities (poolside playlists, kids in the water) outside that window.
-
Is the beach really private?
Greek beaches are public by law, but the waterfront in front of the Lilantia complex is for residents — sun loungers, garden, paths. You won't share it with day-trippers.
-
Is the pool supervised by a lifeguard?
No — the pool and private beach are unattended. By booking, you acknowledge that you use these facilities at your own risk. Children should always be supervised by an adult.
-
Is there parking?
Yes — plenty of free parking spots are available throughout the complex grounds for guests of Veya Suite. No booking required and no fee. Park anywhere convenient and walk to the apartment.
-
Are pets allowed?
No — to keep the apartment in pristine condition for guests with allergies, pets are not permitted.
-
Can we smoke in the apartment?
No — the apartment interior is strictly non-smoking. You're very welcome to smoke on the veranda. Please use the ashtrays provided and take care of the outdoor furniture and cushions — burns and stains are charged to the damage deposit.
-
How far is Athens airport?
Athens Eleftherios Venizelos airport is about 105 km — roughly 1 hour 30 minutes by car via the Chalkida bridge. The Skala Oropou ferry route is similar in time and avoids bridge traffic. Taxi from the airport runs €120–€150 (negotiate a fixed rate).
-
Can we host a party, bachelor or bachelorette stay?
No. Veya Suite is a quiet, family-friendly retreat in a residential complex shared with neighbours and other guests. Parties, bachelor / bachelorette stays, large gatherings and loud music are not permitted at any time. Quiet hours apply during the Greek afternoon siesta (14:00 – 17:00) and after 23:00. A relaxed birthday dinner on the veranda or a small celebration with your travelling group is of course welcome — just keep the volume down and respect the calm of the place. Bookings made under false pretences will be cancelled on arrival without refund.
-
What's the cancellation policy?
If you cancel at least 14 days before your arrival, you'll receive a 50% refund. After that, the booking is non-refundable. For bookings made through Booking.com or Airbnb, those platforms' own policies apply — check the terms at the time of booking.
-
When are the pools open?
The two saltwater pools are open through the summer season — roughly June to October, weather-dependent — when the complex maintains them daily. Outside the summer season they're drained or closed for maintenance. The private beach and the Aegean sea are always available — the water is warm enough to swim from late April into October and often beyond.
