Archaeological Site of Eretria
One of the great ancient Greek city-states. Walk the agora, sanctuaries and city walls, then drop into the small but excellent on-site museum.

Ancient Theatre of Eretria
5th-century-BC theatre with a rare underground passage from the orchestra to the skene. Quiet, atmospheric, almost always empty.

Temple of Apollo Daphnephoros
7th-century-BC temple, one of the most important sites in Euboea. The fallen pediment fragments inside the museum are worth the visit alone.

On the doorstep of the suite. Founded in 1991 by the Lykos family — guided cellar tours and tastings of their Panselinos, Malagousia and Kratistos labels (~€18 basic, food pairing options too), then dinner at the family taverna right next door. By appointment Mon–Fri; walk-in on weekends.

Blue Water Games water park

Kartodromo Athens — karting track
Outdoor karting circuit at Aphidnes, just inland from Oropos — kart rentals, a driver-training school, and championship events (Iron Man, Night Sprints, Endurance). Take the Eretria–Oropos ferry across the gulf (~25 min) and you're a short drive away — much closer than the road via Chalkida.

Capital of Evia. The famous tidal current under the old sliding bridge reverses direction up to seven times a day — Aristotle reportedly couldn't explain it. Karababa Castle and the best fish tavernas in central Evia.
